I hope everyone had a happy 4th of July and enjoyed the long weekend!
We went on a 10 mile hike on Saturday in the Shawangunks, made tons of food, then watched the fireworks from the Walkway over the Hudson on Sunday. I loved this weekend. Every weekend should be 3 days long.

Dave is wearing that headlamp for a reason; I really did take this photo at the very end of the day. Camp was about 2 miles away from this lookout and once the sun fell behind those mountains we needed those little lights to make it back. (Unfortunately, we only had 3 headlamps to share among the 4 of us, but we made do.)
I can’t wait for summer weekends like this.
I just can’t wait.
