Archive for August, 2010

Well, it’s back to school for some of us anyway! Here are some adorable products that might make going back to school that much more fun (and cute!)

"Stargazing Fox Tote Bag" By A Lost Feather on Etsy (AKA I made this one haha)

"Composition Class Sweater" on ModCloth

"The Astronomer Flat" on ModCloth

I’m pretty sure I need those shoes. Unfortunately for me there is only a size 10 left. So if you are a size 10- go get ’em.

Happy last day of August… don’t forget, summer isn’t officially over until September 21st. Phew.

Project #100!! I can’t believe I made it to #100. I’ll be announcing a RAFFLE tomorrow to celebrate! (I’m so bad at surprises, oops)

This is a mixed media collage on a 6in x 8in canvas board that incorporates my favorite image from my road trip with Marissa. The background image was printed out on my inkjet printer then transferred onto the canvas using an acrylic matte medium. The raindrops were done in a metallic silver paint, the butterflies are cut out from patterned tissue paper and glued on, and the frame and swirls were drawn in permanent pen.
